Solar Panels Are A Hot Export Product

Solar panels have continued to occupy their place within the upper ranks of the top 10 products on the Global Sources product sourcing website in the past 12 months despite "dark" economic times.

Month-to-month inquiries from import buyers dipped in July 2012, however, aggregate searches in the first six months of 2012 were 42 percent higher YoY.

The EU is the largest solar panel market, accounting for about 75 percent of the world’s total installed capacity.  However, in recent months, orders from the EU have diminished after some member countries lowered feed-in tariffs for large PV installations.

With signs pointing to further challenges, China solar panels suppliers are expanding export venues to South and Central America, Australia, Africa and the Middle East, while elevating their domestic presence to supplement overseas sales.

China solar panel manufacturers have been updating and enhancing their selections to attract new orders. In July, panels were ranked first in all solar-powered products on the Global Sources website in terms of product posted.

UPDATE: Today, November 1st, 2013 is the END - if you procrastinated, Sorry you missed it.
 
As for my own plans - I am not sure yet.  I too have reached the age of retirement and the entire ImportExportHelp.com website has seen it best days.  I still work part-time with some manufacturing companies helping them identify new export prospects but much of what made our website successful in the 1990's and first half of the 2000's decade have now ended.

So in closing this post, I wish to emphasize again, this WAS NOT a sales gimmick like so many that tell you to buy now and give a false deadline - I personally assure you that the November 1st, 2013 is for real and if you visit our main site and find the course web pages you will find the order forms have been removed and the statement at the top hi-lited in yellow that the courses are NO LONGER AVAILABLE.

USA Automotive Exports Accelerated In August

About 4-5 years ago we began noticing a trend in international trade.  Prior to that time, the primary interest of both callers and email queries to our main website for sourcing products was about how and from whom to source products from China.

With steadily increasing labor costs in China and ever increasing costs to ship finished goods many companies that had moved their manufacturing to China were now looking closer to home or just south of our border.

There is even a new term for this trend - "nearshoring".

The growing trend in looking South of our border to do business in Mexico rather than half way around the world in China has continued and doing business in Mexico is now seen as a means of keeping both labor and transportation costs lower and the ultimate price of finished goods competitive.

USA E2 Visa Program

The USA’s E2 Visa program allows residents of 80 treaty countries to gain entry into the USA through business ownership.
 
Benefits of the E2 Visa include the ability to renew the visa every 2-5 years (depending on country of origin) for an indefinite period of time and maintain US residency as long as the business is operating profitably.
